Entrance to the monastery library

IThe so-called "Great Library Room" can be visited as part of a guided tour. The representative hall, designed in an early rococo style, was renovated during the redesign of the Abbey library. Today, the holdings of the Abbey Library include about 1200 manuscripts (of which about 580 are from before 1500), 1100 incunabula and early prints (up to 1520) as well as 230,000 printed volumes from the 16th-20th centuries.
